Best garage roof replacement material?

Looking to replace ours soon and there’s a lot of options out there. Felt, rubber, sheets? What do you recommend?

I reccomend edpm rubber lasts a lot longer and more durable .

Sheets would a quick cheaper option all depends what it is you actually have on now  and if it is rotted etc if so would rip off.

As a roofer with many years experience in all different flat roofing systems , i would still recommend traditional felt. if done correctly it should easily last thirty plus years.

On my own house its what i would use over any of the newer cold applied roof coverings.

Single ply membrane will give you the best lifespan, does cost a little more but worth it in the long run.

I think your first choice is a Fiberglass, even if you don't rely on it for it’s felt

For a garage I would say rubber or felt. Depending on the roof.

I would recommend torch on felt as a cheaper option will last about 15-20 years, if done correctly
