Bedroom Celing bumpy

Hello,

We have a bedroom ceiling that is looking bumpy and the finish from the last paint is showing up marks so not a smooth finish.

"If the ceiling is a painted plaster finish you need to sand down the area or the whole ceiling to the required finishes then prep it all and repaint."

"Without seeing the bumps its hard to say....it could be that the paint was contaminated and bits have been rolled onto surface, or the plaster underneath needed sanding after the mist coat, before applying top coats. Either way I'd sand smooth, potentially use a product like Gardz to seal surface and then top coat with a flat Matt."
