The surround of my bathroom lights are all rusty....tried many times to get it off but nothing worked... would like them all changed to another type that won't rust...

"my advice would be to stick with white finishes on downlights. tends to be anything with a metallic finish that flakes and rusts in bathroom."

"depending what style of lights you have, there are always stainless steel downlights with different color bezels. There are any options of style and finishes online and in lighting shops that will not rust."

"I would recommend a plastic flying saucer type led ceiling light for a quick fix or LED spots as the best option & to give you a good even light everywhere in the bathroom. No rusting or any bulb changes for a gazillion years or so."
