Bathroom ceiling extractor fan.

My bathroom extractor fan has stopped working. It is fitted into the loft over a grid in the bathroom ceiling. Is it possible to remove the grid and replace the fan with one fitted to the bathroom ceiling?

"Hi,
It would be an easy replacement, take out the old fan and fit the new one, Aiming
to get the right sized fan that would cover the space where you have taken the old one out to save on decorating.
Kind Regards
Hugh"

"Yes. Access would be required to the loft to adjust the ducting and cabling, and some decorating may be needed around the old grille position."

"Hi , yes it is possible.
But you will need to re wire from the new fan to the power supply."

"Generally speaking, fans that are usually on the ceiling are air circulation fans that allows air to travel through ducting, and not the same as a normal bathroom fan that's usually hard wired into a lighting circuit."

"It sounds like you have an online fan currently. If this is the case yes you can take this out and fit an inbuilt unit easily enough"

"I would suggest using an inline extractor fan as it is more efficient compared to those little ones which hang on the ceiling"
