My partner and I are expecting in a few months and we’re wondering what type of nursery shelving we should go with. Do you have any good recommendations of brands/products that we should consider? How about even the best colour shelves to go with a nursery room? Thank you!

"Hi there, is it a boy or a girl so that we can ensure colours. If that's not a problem we can consider making them ourselves so that they can be special and it can be floating beside the changing bad to make it easier for mummy access while dealing with the baby on changing and cleaning time. I wish I can show a picture but no space for that here"

"Floating shelves are definitely a great option but they really can't take much weight so would be best suited for pictures or light decorative items. I would recommend Johnstones paint, they have some great bold colours for potential feature wall or mural"

"Ikea has some good baby shelving they are easy to put together and they do delivery 🚚 white is a good colour as it will go with any other colour you have ie blue are pink."

"Depends what's you want to put on the shelves,l would suggest 3 floating shelves in pastel colours for cuddly toys and a few stronger supported shelves for nappies and wipes etc"
