Attic insulation

I want to have insulation added to my attic but it isn’t tall enough to stand up in. Will this be an issue? Is there anything I can do to take it easier to work in? Will this likely affect how long the work will take and the cost of the job?

"The cost will depend on the ridge height minimum. Below 1.5m is a problem for standard insulation but there are alternative insulation methods."

"Hi Luke. No issue with the height and loft space."

"No, it won't affect the work. However you can add insulated plasterboard, this should be fine."

"Hi, as a joiner I can tell you this is part of the job, it will make it more difficult. It shouldn’t reflect too much in price."

"Ideally, your loft insulation should be 270mm thick according to building guidelines."
