"Depends on the type of fuse board that is fitted in the property weather it has RCD protection to all circuits or not.
If there is no RCD protection to some or all of the circuits then yes the Pipework should be earthed unless it is plastic pipework."

"YES, if the taps are connected to a metal piping system IE copper. If you have plastic piping then there is no need."

"If it’s extraneous metal, the way I look at it , is it difficult to bond it ? If it’s plastic obviously not a issue , with the advent of rcds covering most boards these days that helps in regards to the 30ma leakage but weigh it up and make a good call :)"

"Morning Angie
It’s not a regulation any more to have taps earthed. Although the mains Gas & Water supplies have to be earthed"

"Hi Angie 🙂 Merry Christmas.. here’s your answer..

There is no regulation that governs supplementary bonding (earthing) in a kitchen. However, if the manufacturer installation instructions specify earthing and they provide an earthing terminal, you need to earth it

I hope that helps."

"aslong as you have bonding to your gas incoming and bonding to your water incoming (stopcock) then the taps dont need earthing."

"Only the main water pipe needs to be earthed .
Thee is no need to earth each outlet , except cases where the reading between pipes is higher than 0.05"

"Taps wouldn’t need to be Earth as long as other things are in place. Such as a rcd. If that’s the case then supplementary bonding isn’t always required"
