Altering the way a door swings open

Can a wood door that opens into a room be altered to open outwards instead?

"Hi . A door can be changed to outward opening. But the door could need to be reduced in width. A lining with a planted stop . Can be changed fairly easily. Whereas a frame with a rebate would need to have timber fitted into the rebate . Which could form the stop for the door to be hung on the other side. Old locks and hinges can be pieced in with timber.
Hope this helps . Regards mark"

"Yes but you repair holes where hinges were and alter the door stops to suit"

"Yes it wouldn’t involve changing the hinges and locks round and a pit of patching and filling"

"Yes but you would have to fill some holes and make good, the door stop trim on the inside of the frame may or may not come off and refit easily, possible it may need replacing"

"Yes it can indeed, also depending on what latch or lock you have in there may need changing, the latches won’t but if a lock and it’s non reversible then that will need changing, and door stops might need to be adjusted"

"Yes it can, would probably need a new door stop, filling of the old hinge locations"

"Yes, this can be done. This is based on an internal softwood door or hardwood door with pined on timber door stops to door lining. If door stops are screwed on you will need new ones to suit.
Remove internal timber door stops, remove door (hardwood or softwood), Rehang door opposite side of door frame (lining) to suit. Patch in old hinge cut out on frame, remove lock or tubular latch reverse and refit. Cut in striking plate to suit. Handle or knob will be in the same place."
