    advice on replacing a single gutter through DIY


    I need to have a single gutter replaced? Can I perform this job DIY? And if so, what safety steps are required?

    "always make sure that you are using exactly the same profile as the one already on the building to make sure that they fit correctly always use the correct safety gear for example good sturdy ladders or some scaffolding of some description depending on the height of the building"

    "Hi there , you can complete this job by yourself if you have the right access Equipment I.e ladders or staging platforms. But I would strongly recommend it that you source a reliable tradesmen to complete the work. If it’s only replacement of guttering it would be cost effective to get it installed by a professional as this would insure the correct pitch/run for rain fall and minimise the risk of leaks. If you are interested in me coming to look at the job I can and quote it for you, best regards, Steve"
