    What do extension builders charge each hour and per day in Swindon? Is it any different from the rates offered in other nearby spots like Reading or Bath?     We want to install an indoor climbing wall to our child's bedroom. What kind of tradesperson would we need? Is it simply a handyman? Or do we need a specialist? We want to ensure the wall can hold enough weight to last until teens (if they still want it then). Any advice would be appreciated.

    Internal walls wet and showing signs of damp

    Internal wall in bedroom sometimes feels wet - especially after winter months/heavy spells of rain. There is some staining at the top of the walls and also some areas of damp/mould in adjacent cupboard. Old chimney breast runs up same wall so suspect it is related to this. Unsure whether I need a roofer or bricklayer or even if it's related to guttering/flashing. Thankfully, it is the only room in the house which has any damp/mould but would like to get it resolved. Any hints or troubleshooting tips appreciated.

    Fireplace back boiler removal

    Just moved into my new house. It’s Oil heating and has an open fire. Im not sure if previous owner used the fire. I’m getting new fireplace installed and have been told to remove back boiler before installation. Is this something a plumber needs to do or is this a specialist job. Does it need to be completely taken out or is it just a matter of disconnecting it?
