  • Bathroom Light Pull Cord

I am needing my bathroom light pull cord replaced and have been told that as the existing one is about 2 inches up into the ceiling the electrician will not do it. Is this correct? As surely it can still be removed and a new one fitted?

    Moving kitchen door

We would like to brick up our kitchen doorway and replace (and enlarge) a window opening, fitting small bi-folding doors (around 70'inch opening) on the same wall. Any ideas how much this might cost (minus the glazing)? Thanks.

Can I connect my guttering to my sewer system?

Is it possible to connect the guttering runaway to the house’s sewer system? And is this still legal to have this changed? Currently we have a soakaway area with a hole that this gutter leads to, but this is getting blocked up regularly now. This is an old house which has a combined sewer system which has another set of gutters which do connect to the sewer system.
