    I have recently had my Garden Room (one new circuit added and consumer unit in garden room) connected to my house (around 10m away) - I have been provided with a Condition Report and Certificate for Minor Works. I am told by the electrician that these works are not classed as 'notifiable' and therefore I have not been provided with a Building Regulation Part P Certification. Please can I have opinions?     RF IN snapped off my TV

    Hi, Unfortunately someone has managed to snap off the aerial connector on my TV when they were mounting my TV on the wall. I am trying to find someone near who can potentially fit a new one on my TV but I have also read about a 'HDMI adaptor' that I could use to get normal TV channels. Does anyone have any that they would recommend? Trying to figure out the best option. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

    boiler not working same after installation of a combi boiler

    hi, had a boiler installed recently and as a result living room radiator is cold on the bottom and very hot at the top. installer thinks is because radiator has both pipes on the same side, one at the top and one at the bottom so he wants to replace pipe to put it on the opposite side of the rad. i dont think the problem is with the pipes been on the same side of the rad as it is been working fine till now. I am looking for a second opinion, need help please.

    advice of painting over mould in a spare room

    If I have a surface that I’d like to paint over, can painting over mould kill it off or does it need to be fully removed before I move on to repainting my walls and ceiling? It's the spare room in question and mould has grown quite a lot. It looks awful and we’d like to get rid of it as soon as possible. I thought I would ask whether mould can simply be painted over and ‘suffocated’ if you’d like or do we need to get rid of it first? I’m planning to repaint these surfaces either way as they’re in need of an update.
