  • What are the most secure night latches?

Are some night latches more secure than others? If so, what should I look for? It's for the door of my flat. There's a better lock on the communal door but I haven't got permission to add another lock to my door yet. So, I’m wondering if I can get a better night latch?

Wanting to change the layout of the kitchen which involves moving the sink/washing machine/dishwasher from the corner at the front of the kitchen (next to the garden) to the back internal corner (sink and dishwasher on an island) currently have a gas hob that needs moving or is it better to change it to electric? will also be having underfloor heating. Outdoor newly rendered wall showing signs rustings on the edges

Hi there As part of landscaping project, we had new raised plant beds built using grey blocks which were rendered using sand and cement with appropriate additives. We painted it once rendering completed. The edges of these beds where beads were put are now showing sign of rustings that are gradually appearing and growing through the whole length of the beads. The landscaper says it may be paint reacting and we can use stain blocker paint to prevent. Can you advise probable cause and potential remediations for the same please?

    Tv mount on plasterboard

I have a 55inch TV that I want to mount on to the wall. The wall is plaster board and there’s one wooden beam going straight down the centre. We want to put it on this wall as the rooms an awkward shape and there’s not really any other options. Would this be okay? We have the wall plugs that the mounts come with and some reinforced ones we brought. Will the wall hold the Tv? Or will it cause damage to the wall and risk it coming down
