Could you give me an idea as to what is the best type of mop or even ideally the best mop products for cleaning a laminate floor. What should I purchase?
How do you successfully update a Freeview box? How often should it update? Will it cause many delays? And can it happen suddenly, without warning (e.g. could it happen in the middle of when I’m watching a live event or will I be able to postpone the updates in that case)?
Do bed bug mattress covers work?
Hi there, we are turning our two adjoining en-suites into a family bathroom on the 2nd floor. We are going to do all the prep work, removing the existing bathrooms, knocking the wall through and sorting the doors. Essentially leaving an empty shell. To be re-plasterboarded, bathroom fit and tiled. Will also need electrician work for the lighting. We've been quoted £7.5k for labour.. does this seem reasonable?
My house already has a dormer loft conversion, however, the dormer is quite small and doesn’t go all the way to the edge of the roof. I got an architect in who said the price to increase the dormer is the same as if the conversion had never been done, and essentially we’d need to start again. Is this really the case?
How much does it cost to install plumbing for a washing machine in a kitchen
How do you get rid of black stains that are streaked along a roof? Is this an easy issue to solve DIY or am I best hiring a professional? Are there any products in particular that I should use? Cheers in advance.
There are some old vinyl tiles glued down in my kitchen. Any tips on how to remove them? They seem pretty well stuck down.
Do you need to remove render before installing exterior insulation boards? Or can they be fixed over the top?
Hello, I’m wondering if you have any advice. My house had curved ceilings upstairs, which the last two winters have had bad condensation/water once it gets cold outside. Is this made worse by putting the heating on? The house is very cold particularly on the one side, which sees the worst of the condensation. From previous advice it’s something to do with a large uninsulated gap where the curve has been put into the ceilings. Do you have any advice long term and short term? Thank you, Emily
