Hello, I’m looking at buying a property which has a back boiler, what would the likely cost be of removing this and replacing it with a combi boiler? I appreciate costs will vary, depending on work needed. The current back boiler is in the lounge, the water tank is in the bedroom directly above. We’d like the combi boiler to be placed in the kitchen. We’re based in Hampshire. Many thanks for any advice.

A builder who came to see us wants to put the lintels in from the inside. Is this normal practice? Many thanks for any advice.
