I’m going to be moving into my first home later this month and the bathroom is the only dated section of the house. I’m going to remove the tiles myself but i’m a little frustrated because the tiles encase the bathtub. Is it possible to remove tiles that are on the bathtub base and then get them redone professionally or would it be safer to remove the wall tiles myself and leave simply just those ones?
Hi, I’m moving to a new flat and have bought a tv shelf unit with cupboard storage either side which can be wall mounted. There won’t be a lot of weight inside the cupboards but the unit itself is very heavy ( about 30kg) and the tv is a 55inch ( so I’m guessing about 10-15kg). Is this too much weight to mount on a stud wall?
I want to redecorate the whole house, it has wood chip all over. What is the best/quickest way to get rid of it? Thanks

The fridge recently started have the metallic smell inside the fridge, but not inside the freezer. Both the fridge and freezer are still cooling/working as normal. There is no sign of any refrigerant leakage. Any spoiled food and lack of cleaning can be ruled out as the possible cause. The appliance is 8 years old. My questions are: (a) What are the likely causes? (b) Is it easily repairable? (c) Would I be better off to just replace the appliance instead of attempting to repair it?
