"Hi, yes you can do that as long as you clean and prime your existing walls. It also helps if you can use the same company products if you know which make you've used before. Preparation is the key to avoid any flaking or not bonding."

"Yes , you can paint over an existing unwashable / non-washable paint finish in your kitchen with a washable, tougher paint but the key is proper preparation first so the new paint adheres and lasts."

"Yes, you can paint over an unwashable paint in your kitchen with a washable paint, but there are some important steps to ensure good adhesion and a durable finish.

Clean the Surface: Thoroughly clean the existing paint to remove grease, dirt olf flaky paint.

Sand the Surface: Lightly sand the existing unwashable paint with fine-grit sandpaper to create a rough surface for the new paint to adhere to. Be sure to wipe away any dust afterward.

Paint with Washable Paint: Once the primer is dry, you can apply your washable paint. Multiple coats may be necessary for even coverage.

By following these steps, you should achieve a good result. If you're unsure, testing a small area first can help confirm adhesion and finish quality."

"Yes you can as the base paint is not a good or sheen paint so the next coat will stick to the u washable paint"

"Yes no problem, just ensure the walls are thoroughly cleaned using sugar soap solution, don't worry if some of the previous paint washes away with it. Ensure thoroughly dried and fill any blemishes. Then use durable finish paint, I recommend Johnstone's durable acrylic, it's as good as Dulux but cheaper."
