Why does my room smell like fish?

There's a strange fishy smell in one of our bedrooms that comes and goes. I've cleaned everywhere but can't find the source. Something I read on the web said it could be an electrical issue?

loose connection in one of the electrical accessories. The fishy smell comes from the plastic overheating

* Turn off power at the breaker if safe
* Stop using sockets/appliances in that room
* Call an electrician urgently

Mostly likely the insulation around the wires burning it has a  fishy smell, this could be serious, you should get it checked out
