What's the best render for solid walls?

What's the best type of render to use on solid walls with no cavity?

"I would advise you to put a base coat and mesh to prevent cracking and a silicone finish which you can have in any colour you like , it's very popular these days and gives a very nice nice modern finish."

"Is this for internal or external as internal it depends on the situation as it could be as there has bin a damp issue or it just be it’s lose render which happens a lot but if outside i would say a 4/1 mix but inside i t could be done with hardwall or a special type of cement for damp walls or just cement for basic"

"Sand and cement or k rend would be a good option if you want a smooth finish which then can be painted unless it's k rend it comes in a choice of colours"

"K- rend or lime plaster. These two kind of plaster allows the wall to breathe. The moisture from inside is able to transpire through the walls to the external , while at the Sam time same is repelled from the outside to inside."

"Hi, it's more down to personal preference on looks, but I would highly recommend K'rend as its very tough against all elements and looks great."
