Warm outdoor tap

Years ago we had an outdoor tap fitted that gave us warm water for washing our dogs. Kitchen sink was moved during refurb and they changed all the pipes so now only hot water out of the tap…they removed a small valve that was really small and simple but I can’t find it online anywhere- it wasn’t one of the big TMVs I’ve seen- just a small brass joint..any help appreciated!

"You need a blending valve, temperature can be controlled to avoid any burns, they premix the hot with cold before it goes to the hot tap, similar to primary schools and hospitals etc"

"Sounds like a compression coupler was used to join in the pipes or a compression tee"

"Would only be an isolation valve by sounds of the description. You say you had warm water from the tap before - now only hot water?
Either the cold water isn't connected or isolation valve for the cold water if what you are referring to isn't connected or its left closed..
Hope this helps."
