Victorian brick identification

The bottom of my Victorian home's walls are made from blue bricks. Are these likely to be engineering bricks? If so, do replacements need to be like for like?

"Yes. You only get red and blue engineering bricks so you are best off sticking to the colour and brick you took out. Also try to make sure you match the colour of the pointing as well, it's hard to gauge what the gauge was and what make of cement they used but if the colour of the mix/ gauge ain't right they will stick out like a sore thumb. Also get someone who knows what they are doing because it will look awful if you don't know what you are doing. Good luck"
