Repair/Replace Outdoor Tiled Steps
Mark did a really excellent job restoring our Victorian external steps. He gave thoughtful advice from the start, suggesting the removal of the old tiles to reveal the original stone underneath, and he was honest about what could and couldn’t be done. He worked very carefully to avoid damaging the stone, always checked with me before doing anything extra or permanent, and took the time to make sure the step by the front door was properly adjusted so that rainwater wouldn’t run into the building. There were a few tricky areas, including some very crumbly layers of stone on the landing and some stubborn old graffiti, but he handled each one carefully and the finish looks great. Throughout the process, he was easy to talk to and work with, and I really appreciated his problem-solving and attention to detail. Very happy with the outcome and would happily recommend him.
