How heavy is a Juliet balcony made from metal or glass and how do I know if my walls can support one?

"Steel Juliet Balconies are around 50kg per linear metre, it varies depending on height and gauge of steel bar used."

"If your walls are made of brickwork , then it should be fine. Just drill holes for the fixings and use a chemical resin fix to secure your bolts, trim the excess when dry and fit your balcony. There is very little play in the fixings so you must be accurate with your bolt positioning before they go hard. ."
