Internal Painting & Decorating
I advertised for a tradesman to decorate my Hall stairs and landing. Mr Thornton quoted me £545.00 to do the job with a 3 day timescale. His work was not up to standard. He has no basic knowledge of preparation of walls and ceiling before painting. On the third day I asked him to leave the job due to his unacceptable work.. He used a radiator roller to paint the walls. He painted over filler without rubbing it down properly. He has a slap dash attitude as no care was taken when painting the edges. Basically the man cannot do the job..Also his timekeeping is appalling. I have now had to employ other decorators to rectify his inadequate work costing me more money.

North Constructio UKWhilst I am disappointed that the client is unhappy with the work, it is not as clear cut as he says He was supposed to prepare the walls and strip off the wallpaper before we started work but he did not strip some of the wallpaper or carry out adequate preparation.. I told the client that the paint he had purchased was not of sufficient quality to achieve a good finish even with 2 coats. He would not let us finish the work so it’s very unfair to criticise the job until the work had been finished.

Wooden Decking
Norman provided a well priced and efficient service. His communication was excellent and most impressively, he listed to what I wanted and found a solution, rather than stating that the whole deck needed replacing. I would definitely recommend North Construction.

tradesman keen and work of good quality.Issues with completing on time due to disagreements with his boss about time required to complete job.I completed outside jobs to givetradesperson time to complete interior jobs to a good standard. and deducted agreed amount of money.
