Tile adhesive for floors and walls

Can I use the same type of adhesive for tiling a floor and walls? Or do they need specific adhesives?

Yes u can , but it depends on tge type of tiles , for floors flexible floor tile adhesives for wooden floor and normal floor adhesives for concrete floors, as i say it depends on the tiles,

You can use the same in most cases, but it depends. I mean if you're using the schluter ditra on the wall, you need an unmodified thinset, if you're doing the underlayer, you might want a polymer based adhesive so the wood doesn't draw the moisture out so fast from the adhesive. 

In most cases, your standard tile adhesive is fine for the walls and floors, but I would need more information.

Yes most powdered adhesive you can buy are multipurpose adhesive

It will say on the bag most of the time yes , if its ready mixed they are mostly walls

It depends on whether you bought ready mixed bucket adhesive, because you can only use that on walls,  but powdered adhesive in which you mix with water will do both but if they are plastered walls, make sure you prime the plaster walls first. Mike

As I am a tiler I use ready mix wall tile adhesive and powder adhesive for floors

You can use the same adhesive on both but I tend to use a rapid adhesive on the floor but I prefer a slow set when tiling the walls
