Thermal stone wool cavity wall insulation

Is Rockwool thermal stone wool cavity wall insulation any good? We're thinking of using this on our small extension.

Hi.  It certainly is good. But I would insert that wool and top the cavity with  heat conductor foam. Simply reinforcing the idea of insulation

Personally I wouldn't use cavity wall insulation as it creates a bridge from the outside wall to the inside your better off with a wall coating on the side side wall which works the same

yes , its  ok you can also use thermal boards  there is other ways but best to go with your budget the end result is the same

Cavity is there for a reason to allow air flow, I'd be against that, insulate from outside and re roughcast

Rockwool insulation is very good in the sense it has a high thermal efficiency, reduces energy bills for heating and cooling in residential buildings.

There is also “Celotex” which will give the best insulation, it’s a little more tricky to install as it needs cutting ect but the 2 products are very good.
