What is Stonex?

I've seen a shower tray made from Stonex. The description says it's durable but not what material it is. Does anyone know if this is a stone composite or something else?

STONEX is a composition of stone and resin with a unique gel coating on top. This protects the the tray from UV and chemical wearing better then other manufacturers using a normal acrylic finish. They are also cast with a natural stone finish which is attractive but also reduces the risk of slipping.

Stonex  is a STONE  RESIN  ( resin reinforced) shower tray with  high resistance to abrasive chemical products and ultraviolet lights, textured finished for high slip resistance and very  slim design to facilitates floor level instalation.

Stonex material is cast from mineral and natural stone resins. Giving not only a resilient build. But because of the way it's cast, a unique natural texture that adds to the existing anti-slip properties.

I used to be a polymer scientist, now I fit bathrooms, (don't ask!)
Stonex is a composite (something made from more than one material) material made from ground minerals and a polymer (usually acrylic) resin, there is no such thing as a stone resin, there is stone and there is resin, the resin (matrix) is used to bind the mineral particles (filler) together. 
Most shower trays are made of composites, despite some replies, I doubt that any are actually stone.
