"The distance and location of the drain pipe from the upper floor are important. affects the price of the material to be used. Most importantly, how much professional work do you want?"

"Saniflo is the brand of macerator but more cost-effective alternatives are available. Depending on the pipework to the soil and electrical supply maybe around £1000."

"There are a number of factors that need to be taken into consideration length of the pipework needed number of floors or if it's just a standard install"

"With saniflo, you have two options, you can have a macerator connected to your toilet or buy a saniflo toilet with an in-built macerator for about £500. A standalone macerator will probably cost you from £160 but you get what you pay for. The cheaper it is, the bigger the unit and less effective it is. Budget £2k for best equipment and finish."
