"My company are sending drones up to find the issues and also we work in the same work bubble and it’s outside so it’s absolutely fine shouldn’t be more than 3 roofers on the job ideally anyway. You wouldn’t need to do anything most payment is done by bacs and the finished works can be shown on drone to. A receipt can be given via email so it’s pretty safe"

"As roofers work outdoors on the scaffold or roof our contact with anyone up there is minimal so no steps needed as contact with customer can be done over the phone, video call or email. Or even distanced on the doorstep."

"As a roofer I kept my distance (ALWAYS) and I would proceed with my work and I would take pictures and videos and either email or WhatsApp the pics and vids to the customers as I couldn't stand to close."

"Although roofers are working outside we still have to take extra caution when you're talking to the homeowners in doing so by wearing face-covering and keeping a safe distance"
