Removing drain/manhole from under extension

Drain under extension

Is it possible to remove drains and manhole from under an existing extension.
How long does it take, how much would it cost and will it mean removing all the wooden flooring etc?
thanks

"Hi, it is possible and you would need access to the existing manhole for measurements and re connecting existing pipe works and price wouldn’t be able to say until seen the job and could take anywhere from 2 days to 5 days maximum.. thanks"

"It can be diverted depending on room round the extension and ground conditions. Time depends on weather ground conditions and man power and price depend on ground manpower and prices of all materials needed to complete the works plus any additional works"

"Yes it could be diverted with new manhole but would need to be looked into"

"Yes this is possible however there is a lot of work entailed to ensure that the drain is moved and correctly reinstalled with the correct falls etc"

"Why would you do an extension and not reposition beforehand, unless it’s a property you’ve recently purchased, depending if it’s just a inspection chamber pot or a concrete construction manhole , this could turn out to be a rather expensive fix"

"Yes, manholes need to be lifted carefully as the carry a lot of weight, on top of that they could be deeper than expected. Real chance of damage to the property if it’s not done with the right precautions. Ie is the manhole still tied in to supplies storm or foul, being in the house or outside just sounds like foul. Which would have to be seen. I’ll do these jobs right with over ten years experience and won’t charge a penny more than labour. Which 99% of companies will try and bump up price."

"Removing drains and a manhole from under an existing extension involves several factors that influence the time, cost, and extent of the work:

Length of Drainage Pipes: The length of the drainage pipes under the extension will affect the complexity and duration of the removal process.

Reconnection Needs: If the drains need to be reconnected elsewhere, additional work and materials may be required, impacting both the time and cost.

Condition of the Flooring: Whether the wooden flooring needs to be removed will depend on the accessibility of the drainage system and the extent of the work required.

To provide an accurate estimate, we would need to assess these factors onsite. We're more than happy to schedule a visit to evaluate the situation and provide you with a detailed cost estimate tailored to your specific needs. Please let us know if you'd like to proceed with a site visit."
