Removing a radiator and capping off

How much should I expect to pay to have a radiator removed and capped? And is this something that can be done DIY without any issues down the line?

"It's easy to cap off a radiator if you know what you're doing
Quite often the whole heating system will need to be drained down then pipework capped off
There is an easier way to just isolate the radiator valves either side use a small tray to collect the water from the radiator once cracking the nuts and then capping the valves that way

It always drain down to do this in the top of the central heating up after adding inhibitor to protecting prolong the life of both the system and the boiler"

"You can do DIY on it, but you must make sure the system is filled and any opens are closed.

For price from £60-£80
Thanks"

"You can do it yourself but depending on the system. Vented/unvented will depend on the ease. Get it wrong and you could have a nice puddle. Your looking at a couple of hours work I would say £90 - 100."

"Depending on the size and type of system this can be done in 1 hour
It can be done DIY but only if the person is confident on the system they are working with"

"Hello Ellie

Honestly if it's well maintained system for example TRV or rad isolation valve in good condition and , it's not gravity system then , I would say between £60 to £70 depending distance of the site.

If old gravity system any extra work involves price may vary but under £100."
