Radiator thermostat not working properly

One of our radiators seems to have stopped regulating temperature. The radiator gets fully hot even when the valve is turned right down. What is going on here?

"Its possible that the pin has got stuck, the head is loose or is damaged internally. Try tightening the ring/nut, if not loose then undo it and remove the head then check the pin, see if it pushes down freely if it does then look inside the head and see if anything has snapped in there. Failing that it'll be new TRV required."

"Hi there

If the issue is just on one radiator its likely to be the thermostatic radiator valve on the radiator"

"Valve is not there to regulate temperature, it controls the flow of water. Less the water goes inside, less it gets heated"
