Boiler leaks when turned off

Question

Odd one this. There's a small puddle under the boiler in the morning but nothing while the heating is actually running, so we only notice it when everything's been off overnight. Pressure gauge looks normal too. Any ideas?

It’s possible that the leak is on a hot pipe so the leak evaporates during normal operation of the boiler, and only shows when the pipes cool down and water is allowed to form drips.

Could be when the boiler has cooled down over night,  get a gas safe engineer to check it. Most boiler models have common components which leak

Could be a small leak from a component or connection that only shows once the boiler has cooled down. It could be the pump, plate heat exchanger, condensate trap, or another internal connection. The normal pressure doesn’t rule out a small leak.

You may have a leak on something and when it's on the heat expands and closes the source of the leak so when it cools this opens up and leaks could be anything really needs inspecting

There’s a good chance if it’s a tiny leak that it seals up when the metal has expanded inside the boiler while the heating is on. If it’s only a small leak it may take a week or so to notice on the pressure gauge but definitely worth getting it fixed as it wont get any better

Same as the other persons telling you most likely a seal as gone or the condensation pipe under your boiler is leaking or split
