"Spanish and Italian tiles are normally the best tiles to work with.
Some of the cheaper tiles have factory weak spots, warped and imperfections in the glazing"

"We recommend that you use what's known as a quality 'flexible' powdered, cement based adhesive such as fast setting Keraflex Maxi Grey. With large format tiles, it is important that there's a full bed of adhesive between the floor or wall and the tiles to ensure full contact.mmznpreet"

"It should have uniform colour and texture. It should be firm enough to resist breaking and cracking. Ceramic tiles edges should be sharp and perfectly at a right angle, and not broken at corner. It should be checked for curvature and warping by putting tiles on the perfectly flat surface."

"Hello Catherine. Look for price ( don't go cheap), thickness ( 0.8-10 mm), County of origin (Spain-Italy) are usually better quality. Each box or tile has on its back it’s origins. Good luck!"
