"Oak wood flooring is exceptionally hard wearing, durable and aesthetically pleasing when fitted correctly.
It can be sanded and sealed once it starts to look worn and as such has many years of wear life due ti this characteristic.

Hope this helps"

"Oak hardwood flooring looks amazing, you really can tell the difference, also you can sand and refinish endless times. the downside is the cost and extra expense on install as solid flooring should always be glued and is a lot harder to lay compared to laminate Toung and grove. laminate or LVT is cheaper and easier to lay, but scratches and dents are a lot harder to make good. to summaries the only down fall to oak hard wood flooring is the cost. this can be helped by using oak engineered flooring but it's still a lot more than any other flooring.

I hope this helps

"There are many pros and cons of oak hardwood flooring but more pros then cons.

Pros would be it’s a hard wearing and good for heaving foot traffic, not many substances will stain or leave any sort of mark.
It’s very hard to damage, so good if you have children throwing things all the time.

Cons would be that it does get cold during the winter time and can be expensive depending on brand and type"
