"Hi. Whereas there are practical solutions to some work undertaken, the painting of tiles is one of them. One can get further advice on YouTube and the purchasing of good quality paint for floor tiles for the desired look. You can in some circumstances place new tiles over old existing tiles. You may have to seek professional help but this can also be achieved by following the instructions given online and if you are not sure or confident in doing it yourself do seek professional help it may cost you less in the long run.

"Yes you can. Slightly rub down the floor tile area you want to paint and then use zinsser (yellow or red tint, but yellow is preferable. Just not the blue as it's not suitable for the tiles). Let it fully cure and then apply the floor paint."

"Yes, it is possible to paint floor tiles with tile paint. Here are some general steps to follow when painting floor tiles:

Clean the tiles: Use a tile cleaner and a scrub brush to thoroughly clean the tiles. Allow the tiles to dry completely before painting.

Sand the tiles: Use sandpaper to rough up the surface of the tiles. This will help the paint adhere better to the surface.

Apply primer: Apply a coat of primer to the tiles. This will help the paint adhere better and provide better coverage.

Apply tile paint: Once the primer is dry, apply a coat of tile paint to the tiles. Use a paintbrush or roller to apply the paint, and make sure to follow the manufacturer's instructions for drying times and recoating.

Apply a second coat: Depending on the type of tile paint you're using, you may need to apply a second coat to the tiles for full coverage. Allow the first coat to dry completely before applying the second coat.

Allow the paint to dry: Once you've applied the final coat of paint, allow the tiles to dry completely before using the floor.

Keep in mind that painted tiles may not be as durable as new tiles or tiles that have been professionally refinished, so you may need to touch up the paint periodically. Additionally, some tile paints may not be suitable for use in areas with heavy foot traffic or where water is present, so make sure to choose a paint that is appropriate for your specific situation. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions for the specific type of paint you're using, and make sure to use proper safety gear, such as gloves and a mask, when painting. Good luck with your project!"

"You can buy an oil based tile paint from all local DIY stores or paint stores, I recommend oil based if there will be a lot of foot traffic. Then just paint it on as you would paint a wall"

"Stone tiles can be painted in red tile paint readily available (Wilkinson's) it my need priming first.
Make sure the floor is perfectly clean or paint won't stick. Wipe over with turps or meths and allow to dry,

"The only answer I can give is for you to go on Line at the Zinsser paints website. They are specialists in supplying paint for different surfaces.

I don’t think they are open at the moment.

"You might be better of laying cushion floor. Floor paint may scrape off due to heavy footwear unless you buy specialist paint. Cushion floor may be cheaper."
