Painting garage

What paint is best for painting the inside of a garage? Would anything need doing with the walls before painting them? It’s just a normal concrete block garage.

"Use a broom to brush any dust, webs etc off the walls.
Water down some Masonry paint (such as Sandtex) by a 3rd for your first coat to get in all the pores then finish with another 2 coats neat.
Use a thick pile roller and brush and remember to put down sheets - the first coat will be messy."

"If not previously painted, use masonry paint following manufacturers instructions.
If previously painted, you could probably use emulsion.
Thanks."

"Put pliolite masonry paint on . Dulux or crown will do. Thin it down a bit with turps and give it two coats. This paint dry's fast and will not come off like your other water based paints."
