"Kitchens vary in price on what your wanting in the kitchen and spec. But £10,000, would cover your new kitchen and electrics and plaster and plumber."

"It’s best to go for a completely new kitchen because you get a 100% guarantee on everything. If you keep parts of the old kitchen and try to combine them with the new one, technical problems can arise that the subcontractor won’t take responsibility for and this can also lead to extra labour costs and delays.

A kitchen renovation is something you do for 10–15 years, so there’s no point cutting corners on materials.
