"Hi, you need a plumber they don’t need to be qualified as long as they're not removing the front case of the boiler if they remove the case from the boiler they need to be gas safe registered."

"No, there are no regulations to say you need a professional. But I would highly recommend you do, over the years I’ve seen a lot of DIY or handyman jobs done on heating systems, and frankly, I’ve not seen a job done correctly yet."
