Moving a toilet

I'd like to move the bathroom toilet to create more space but that would mean running the soil pipe along the wall for a few metres. Will this be a problem?

"This should not be a problem as long as there is clearance."

"No this should not be a problem, but just make sure there is enough fall in the pipe for the waste."

"The centre outlet from the waste waste should be marked on the wall in the new position. Score a line from existing soil pipe centre. If you have "fall".....jobs a goodun"

"hi, running a smalll length of soil pipe along at low level is more than ok, you can then box the pipe in, with ply, if you are going to tile the area, or moisture resistant MDF and then paint it"

"Yes this can cause many problems depending on how joist run, but also could be very simple. My advise is a goid plumber will tell you if this is possible and the expenses involved and the complications of the job should there be any, as it might actually be very simple and reasonable cheap to do"

"no this would be no problem as long as you maintain a fall in pipework."

"Shouldn’t be an issue as long as there is a gradient fall away from the toilet pan ."

"Hi Sarah
Toilet ideally should be no further than 6 feet away from the soil stack.
Ideally would need someone to pop and have a look for you ref access and flow."
