Metal frame on newly plastered conservatory roof metal frame still visable

I have just had my conservatory roof changed for a timber roof. The plaster has dried and I'm in the process of stating to mist coat but the metal frame is visible. Will the emulsion paint cover this?

"The new plaster is very porous so it soaks in the paint, hence the mist coats,I recently did a customer's artex ceilings, after plastering it took three mist coats then two main coats.Stick with it and the frame should disappear."

"I take it,you mean the ceiling???if metal is level with skim, you could get away with painting it,if metal is protruding,it needs knocking back, then filled to be level with plastered ceiling, hope this helps"
