Masking type use before painting

Could you give me an idea of the best types/products of masking tape that I should use before painting something? Where could I buy these options?

"If your using it around the floor just to protect the floor carpet or laminate then just use an everyday masking tape from The Range or B&Q. This will cost about £2. If your using it for cutting in around the ceiling or around a light switch etc then use Frog Tape. This will cost about £7 per roll. But its well worth it if your not an experienced painter.

Hope this helps. If you"

"Brewers Paint Retailers have a wide range of tapes.

They differ according to the surface you stick the tape to.
