All types of laurel hedge need to be pruned once a year. The best time of year to prune is late spring/early summer as there will be lots of new growth at this time of year to cover up any “tatty” or damaged leaves.

For ease of maintenance cut it before the start of the growing season and again at the end of the growing season

Small trim once a month would do, if you have any problems I'm sure someone can do it for you

A general cut twice a year maybe 3 times unless you want it reducing you can cut them right back and will grow back quickly and will look nice again when leaves grow back
