Is it worth expanding a half width conservatory with standard extension

Our new house has a conservatory across half of the house, which is about 5m deep. It is in good condition. Ideally I would like to have a full width extension.

Is it worth trying (or even possible) to salvage the conservatory, incorporating it into an extension across the rest of the house? Or is it easier/cheaper just to take it all down and start from scratch?
