Is it normal for hive hot water to depend on the heating being on?
I’m trying to set hot water separately in the app, but nothing happens unless the heating is also switched on, so I’m wondering if it’s a setup or wiring issue.

"No that's not normal. If it is a recent issue and it worked fine before then its likely that you have Y plan system with a 3 port valve and that has failed. If it has been like this since it was installed then chances are it is not wired correctly."
