For a quick 20 minute job, how much is a handyman likely to charge?

"Around £40 would be a fair price, taking into consideration, travelling to and from the job"

"I would say depends on what the job is and how far they have to travel because you have to take into consideration the costs the tradesman has ie van insurance public liability insurance running costs of the van so sometimes people shy away from handyman jobs because there’s no money to be made and we all need to make a living but I would say anything between £20 and £40"

"A charge of call out and for the first hour is around £60. Even if it is quicker than an hour then you normally get charged the rate of an hour"

"1st it will depend on what it is that needs doing. If the job and the travelling isn't too far to make it worthwhile. I would charge 25 pound."

"Normally charge by the hour, l charge £10 per hour minimum of £20 to cover fuel etc.
