Commercial awning cost

I've got a small café and want a retractable awning over the front (about four metres wide). What should I budget for supply and fitting?

"For a 4m-wide retractable commercial awning, I’d normally budget around £1,500–£2,000 supplied and professionally fitted, depending on the awning specification, fabric, projection, fixing surface and whether any additional support/brackets are required.

For a small café, I’d recommend looking at a commercial-grade awning rather than the cheapest domestic option, as it’ll be getting regular use and needs to withstand the elements.

I’d always want to see the frontage and check the fixing points before giving a firm quotation, as the wall construction and access can make a significant difference."

"Depending on the quality of the canopy, I would estimate around £385 on materials for a manual wind canopy and about £250 - £300 labour, an electric canopy would be more £1200-£1500 Inc labour"
