"You can sand down same day undercoat if that’s dry .then apply 2nd second coat .and next day you can final coat"

"For one wooden sash window, sanding usually takes about 30–60 minutes, then undercoating around 20–30 minutes plus drying (2–4 hours), and top coating about 20–30 minutes per coat with 4–6 hours drying between coats. So overall, active work is 2–3 hours, but including drying, it can take 1–2 days."

"If you take all the steps correctly it should not take you more than 2 days depending on how quick it dries"

"It depends if oil bases paint is used, or water based. Oil based paint requires a day to dry. Presuming the sash window requires undercoat and 2 top coats, it would take roughly 2 days. If its water based paint and doesnt require heavy preparation, then it could be done in 1 day"

"It’s all dependant on whether it’s a new or existing Timber. If new timber then more coats would be needed but if it’s existing then more preparation would be rehired. I always allow a day to complete a sash window"

"Depending on the size of the window I always treat a job as a days wage sanding can be in-between 1-2 then blow it of so no dust apply a good undercoat leave it about 2 hours depending wat it says on tin or how thick u apply it then little light sand for any lumps then final coat"
