How do you grow a liquorice bush? Is there any tips or trick I should know?

"Sow seeds on the surface of potting compost in mid to late spring or early autumn. Don't cover them. Keep them warm – about 20°C (68°F) – and with any luck, two or three weeks later your liquorice seedlings should have popped up. Alternatively, you may be able to source one- or two-year-old plants."

"Sew seeds on top of potting compost surface and do not cover them in mid to late spring and just keep them warm and luckily you’ll have what you want.
Or you could go out there and get already grown plants"

"Sow seeds mid spring once night temperatures have passed 13-15C. If you have the liquorice bush now then plant it full sun in a light soil like sand (clay will drown it) and throw bits of compost on the top layer. Though it thrives in full sun it still needs to be near a moist area such as a ditch or slope to access water throughout the dry period. Do not water it during the summer."
