How do I fix an E10 error on my boiler?

The display on my boiler shows E10 and it won’t fire up. What do I do?

"If it is an Alpha boiler, it will most likely be low pressure. If the pressure keeps dropping when heating is on then the boiler will require a diagnostics to be carried out by a gas safe engineer."

"When the water pressure is low in heating it shows this code increase the water pressure up to 1..5 max,"

"You need an engineer to diagnose the underlying fault on your boiler. This code usually means the boiler is over heating. Let me know if you would like me to attend."

"E10 error generally means low water pressure in your boiler
It could be something as easy as refilling the system to between 1 and 2 bar
Or if the problem persists you may need a engineer to resolve"

"An E10 error on a boiler indicates low system water pressure. To fix this, you need to repressurize the system by using the filling loop to add water, aiming for a pressure between (1) and (1.5) bar. If the problem persists after repressurizing, there may be a leak or a fault with the pump, and you should contact a qualified engineer"

"You need to top up the pressure of the boiler via the filling loop."

"Probably is low pressure in the system. You need to find where is your feeling lump and top up the water level up to 1.2 bar"

"water pressure or circulation problem
1. Check your boiler pressure
• Look at the pressure gauge on the front of your boiler.
• It should normally read between 1.0 and 1.5 bar when the system is cold.
• If it’s below 1 bar, your boiler has low pressure, which often triggers the E10 error.

2. Repressurize the system
• Find the filling loop (a small silver braided hose under the boiler, with one or two black or blue handles).
• Turn the handles slowly to let water into the system until the pressure gauge reaches 1.2–1.5 bar.
• Then close both valves tightly.
• Reset the boiler (press the reset button or power it off/on)."
