How can you prevent a pond from freezing

How can you safely prevent a pond from freezing over in the winter months? Notably I have fish in the pond so I want to make sure I do not harm the fish with any efforts I take to prevent my pond freezing over. So, how could I go about this? Thanks!

"The pond would need 2 have a constant ripple on the water to stop it from freezing So get a water feature in there so the water is constantly moving.
